| Summary | This trial is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the investigational product tozadenant as adjunctive therapy in levodopa-treated patients with end of dose wearing off. Tozadenant has a novel mechanism of action which, if successful, could represent the first new treatment modality for Parkinson's disease in more than 20 years. Patients enrolled in the tozadenant (SYN115-CL02) trial will be randomized to one of five groups: four fixed SYN115 doses or placebo. All participants will be carefully monitored by the trial site team. The trial will last approximately 20 weeks and all study-related office visits, laboratory work and medication are at no cost to qualified participants. |
